I'm 33, I'm 5'6 1/2" and I have about 100 lbs to lose to meet my goal.
I've read a lot of studies about different weight loss surgeries. I'm kind of at the point where I think I've read pretty much everything there is to read. So it's good to put the scientific side of things to the more real, down to earth spin on stuff. It's good to know how it's working out for people on a daily basis.
My insurance covers duodenal switch and I have about $1,500 out of pocket. I had my initial doctor's appointment on July 7 and the doctor I've chosen is Dr. Stewart. He was the person in this area that, at least from my research, seemed to have the most experience with this particular type of surgery.
