Before

This is my belly some weeks before the operation. I lost about five more kilos after this. However, this is pretty much how my belly looked just minutes before the operation.

My results

Sorry, I totally forgot to update this...

I'm not really in the mood to write a long review in English, so I'll JUST post the pics. That's the only interesting thing anyway.

Compression garments...

I was recommended by Stubberud to buy a velcro belly band and compression stockings (?) that reaches up to the groin. I was at the bandagist to have myself measured to find a perfect fit. I am surprised about ho expensive these garments are. For the band and the stockings I paid $370... I have to comfort myself that the surgery is at least free on my part.

I am starting to get anxious about the pain... I have been prescribed moderate pain killers and antibiotics to take in advance

I am confident that I am not exaggerating when I say that Kjetil Stubberud is one of the best tummy tuck surgeons in Norway, and probably among the greatest in Europe as well. He is modest, and always says that he can not promise miracles; however, that is what he delivers. I had some liposuction to ensure a superb result, and the bruises was very superficial and healed quickly. I don't know about the bedside manner, since I was put "to sleep" before he came, and he was back in the surgery room when with the next patient when I woke up. But under the consultations, he was modest, friendly and answered all my questions, without leaving me feeling rushed. When I woke up, I felt hardly no pain. I was allowed to rest until I felt ready to leave. The nurses was in constant contact with my husband, and when I was ready, they let him in the backdoor so I only had to walk a short distance. The medicines I needed for pain management was provided for free. Only thing I think could have been better is that I was provided no information on how to care for my scar, and also a very brief and superficial follow up. I didn't need much follow up since I felt great after three days, and I don't know how they would have handled it if I had severe complications.
