Hi, I am 41, 5'5 and 110lbs. Wore a 34B before surgery and now am wearing a 36C. I am just over 3 wks post surgery. I am so happy I had it done, as I have always been small chested. (Founding member of the Itty-Bitty Titty Committee). At first, I was apprehensive about the immediate results since my right breast was slightly larger than the left. Because of that, my PS put 350cc in the left and 325cc in the right. As of right now the right has dropped, but the left is still sitting kind of high. I am massaging every day and following my doctor's orders to the best of my ability. This last week I got the okay to resume my workouts, only no chest exercises. I am planning on adding more to the right if there is not much change come my 6 month mark. That is when my PS said we could add or detract from the implants; the other great thing about saline implants. Other than that, everyone tells me that I now look more filled out and curvier. Just can't wait til this summer when we hit the beach on vacation! My biggest regret, Not Doing It 10 Years Ago!

I am now 10&1/2 wks post-op. Just after I posted my last pictures, my left breast finally dropped to where it looks even with the right. They are healing nicely and the soreness and tingling have subsided. I had my 2 month post-op appointment last week and discussed with my ps about a revision. I like my breasts; however, am still unhappy about the type of implant he put in. As I stated before I wanted the moderate plus profiles put in, but instead he put in moderates. As a result, they have dropped more than I want. I have another post-op appointment in February and if they do not drop any further, I will be content. But I have already scheduled a revision just after my 6 month post-op date to exchange for moderate plus. Which is what I asked for in the first place.
I went ahead with my revision at exactly six...

As the time got closer for my revision, I noticed that the right breast felt like it was becoming a "deflated water bag", even though it didn't look like it. That breast had the larger implant, but looked normal from the beginning (i.e. didn't look like it dropped much at all). Three weeks before surgery date I had my pre-op appointment and tried on new sizers that PS's office had just got in. They gave me a getter idea of what I was looking for. Decided on full replacement from moderate to moderate plus saline. Plus, the PA informed me that it was not worth the money unless I went for at least 75-100 cc more. So, now have moderate plus saline, 425cc filled to 450 on right and 445 on left. Am so much happier since they look and feel better.
Great review?

My rating:
My first consult was with the surgical nurse. She answered all my questions concerning saline vs silicone. Let me try on sizers, etc. I made payments towards my surgery starting from that time on. When it came to my pre-op appointment (3 wks before surgery) with the surgeon, it was my actual first time meeting with him. He was rushed, as he was about to go into surgery; and I felt he didn't examine as well as he should have. He decided that my left areola was slightly lower than the right and that I would need a donut lift (1/2 inch) to even it out. This was going to be an addition $750 to the cost. Thank God my husband was with me, because we went home and measured for ourselves and he believes the doctor was not looking at me head-on. My other reason for giving him a lower rating was because I initially wanted moderate plus profile implants. He made the decision (without consulting my husband who was in the waiting room) to put the moderate profile in instead. His reason was that due to my slim frame and heighth, I was too tall for the moderate plus. He's conservative and does not usually put as high a profile implants in. My husband is still pissed about that one. I am somewhat disappointed as this PS is very highly recommended and I really did my homework in searching for a good doctor. Not only price wise, but certification and patient reviews as well.

My PS was Dr. Sherrill at Dalton Plastic Surgery, located in Dalton, GA. They are very reasonable price-wise. Not to mention he gives a 5% discount for procedures paid in cash. He's more conservative than some doctors, which is why I did not receive the moderate plus profile that I asked for. I go i for a follow-up after Christmas, which I plan to discuss my options for either adding more saline or having him replace with a higher profile that I asked for in the first place.
Swimsuit season will be a blast! Glad you were able to get this done. Thank you for sharing your experience here on RealSelf.
