I was told at my initial interview that my lifestyle lift would last for up to 5 years. It has been 8 months and my saggy neck skin is already starting to return. I realistically did not expect it to last for 5 years and felt that they were just telling me what they thought I wanted to hear or what would help me decide to go for the neck lift but I did expect it to last over a year. I mean really. 8 months?

My rating:

As stated above I don't believe I was told the truth about how long my result would last. And I was specific in my question. I also asked the doctor directly if by doing the neck would it accentuate the wrinkles around my eyes and was told it would not. Well, believe me when they tighten up your neck and chin everything they didn't touch....accentuated. So if you're not going for a total lift (eyes, face, chin, neck) don't bother.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry your lift did not last as long as you were told. Just one of the many things that LSL does and tells women to sell them a procedure that is highly advertised, vastly oversold and has many disappointed clients. At least you did not have a horrible experience with the procedure. I don't think women understand that this lift which was used back in the late 60's and early 70's will not last for a long period of time, most plastic surgeons will not do this type of lift. Thanks for posting your experience and letting other women know that the lift did not last. I think it will help other women and men make an informed decision. I would also like to point out that with plastic surgery, no matter who you decide to use, please investigate the procedure and doctor thoroughly. Be sure to get a 2nd opinion and maybe even a 3rd. It is your face and you only have one. Best, Chrsytal

Welcome to RealSelf, BJean. I'm sorry to hear about your unhappy results. Are you planning on getting a revision done?
