I am a 41 year old mother of a wonderful 16 year...
I finally caved and took the leap of faith. After reading sooooooooo many of your reviews and searching long and hard for a doctor that I could be comfortable with I found Dr. Castor. I initially wanted to have this procedure done in Atlanta with a doctor that I had a consult with long ago but after talking with Dr. Castor, first by Skype and then in person, I was confident he was the doctor for me.
I had the procedure on 10/22/14 and by the 25th or 26th I no longer need the pain meds. The worst part about the process is the pain associated with coughing/laughing/sneezing etc.. WOOOOO. Never felt anything like that before. The only other thing that was annoying was sleeping in a recliner for a week. By my second post op visit, 1 week later, I was feeling pretty good although not really standing totally straight I was able to drive myself to his office. Can hardly wait to get back in the gym but I am being patient.
Drains were removed at 1 week. Dr. Castor was extremely patient through this process and waited until I was comfortable and ready for him to pull the tubes out.
Had another appt 11/10/14. Dr. says I am doing pretty good. I am still really swollen but cant wait to see the final result.
Dr. Castor is extremely easy to talk to, is very patient and willing to answer all of your questions, NEVER keeps you waiting and is very soft spoken and comforting. I would recommend this doctor to any and all of my friends. He did a wonderful job and I will be returning to him for a second procedure.
