In 2004, I began searching for an experienced laser technician to perform laser hair removal. After shopping around, I decided on Hair Today Gone Tomorrow in Tampa, FL (no longer in business). I was told during all of my consults that my leg hairs were too light and fine to absorb the laser for successful hair reduction. But I decided to opt for full body hair removal regardless.
3 years and more than 15 treatments later.., I was actually left with little to no hair on my legs (especially on calves) and hardly any reduction under my arms, on my forearms, and bikini area. In some areas the laser actually stimulated the hair follicles which generated more problematic hair!
Fortunately, I spend less time shaving my legs.... On the contrary, I spend more time managing razor bumps in areas that were NEVER a problem before.
Even though the staff was professional and a joy to be around, I would rather have my $6 grand back and just stuck with the waxing.
