2+ week Update!

I went back to work on Monday, and it wasn't bad. I have a desk job, but I sit with my thighs elevated to minimize pressure on my butt. Fortunately, since I had a little booty, Dr. Castor put the fat primarily in my hips and lateral buttocks. So, while I can't sleep on my sides, I can sort of sit down without messing up my investment.
I pretty much feel 100% - but I do get the itchies at night. Right after sx I gained about 10 lbs of fluid and was seriously suffering from puffy poompoom. Anyhoo, I've lost the fluid, and with it about an inch from my hips. I hope I stabilize right here because I look better now at 40, than I did at 20... and I looked good at 20. LOL.
Happy Healing Everybody!

5 days post-op

I stopped taking the pain meds after about 3 days, but I will take the at night to sleep well. I'm not really experiencing pain, it's really more of a discomfort. My skin is soooo sensitive, I have no plans to stopping wearing the fajas any time soon.
I wanted to take a pic of my stomach, but it is a frightening mess right now. LOL...all lumpy and wrinkly, not to mention the swollen poom poom. There is no need to memorialize that with pictures. Anyway, as you can see in the pics, it was like my butt was deflated and now it has life. Also, I now have hips, which I never did before - almost too much, but I know it will go down. I have a post op appointment tomorrow and will have more details.

Post-op...

The first 45 minutes were intensely painful. It felt like my ribcage had been scraped with a hot butter knife. But I took my pain medication and that subsided.
I surprised myself that I could walk and move around immediately, but I will admit that getting in and out of bed is painful and takes determination. You won't want to move because there will be pain when you stomach touches the bed, pain when it's not touching the bed, just pain with every movement.
I'm really pleased so far, but I haven't seen myself naked yet! I will be taking my first shower tonight, with the help of my husband. Which reminds me, I told him about the BBL aspect of the procedure like 30 minutes before we left for the doctor's office. He was totally cool with it. He was only concerned that he thought I must have been unhappy with my body/booty for a long time. I told him I was happy with my figure, but just want to improve and this was a good opportunity with the lipo.
My measurements are 35.5-27-41. And the 27 is with the fajas and padding. I'll have my husband take pictures after my shower. I can't wait to see.
