One year post op
What a year this has been! Overall I am pretty satisfied with my experience. I get lots of compliments all the time and I finally enjoy shopping. I actually can buy clothes now - WITHOUT trying them on. My stomach is flat and looking better and better since I started working out more.
My main complaint is that I wish I'd gotten a larger cup size. I got 34D's, but they seem so small to me, not like a D cup... And, my breasts seem to "point" outwards and away from each other - which I do not like. I wish my nipples were more centered and breasts didn't point away from each other. BUT ... that is not the doctor's fault, and I have not yet asked him about how to / if correction is possible. Another issue I had was that my scars were hypertrophic ... my PS is super unhappy with my scars and performed a revision procedure yesterday on my belly button scarring. I absolutely LOVE how my PS really cares and makes sure that things are taken care of. I go back this Friday to remove the stitches from the belly button revision and see how it looks. I am sure he will probably give me something topical to aide in preventing more hypertrophic scarring. P/S wants to do revision on the long abdominal scar once we see how well the belly does. I will update more after Friday.

10 weeks post op
Doc says everything is looking good. I still have some swelling on the left side (which was the bigger side to begin with) , I am hoping it goes down and my breasts will be more even. Doc did ultrasound on it at my last visit and that seems to have really helped.... I will do more ultrasound at my next appointment. The tummy is coming along. i think... the swelling is absolutely crazy! These things take time I guess... lol, i am not complaining , yet... but, wish the healing process would speed up, just a little. Ill post some pics.
8 weeks post op mommy makeover
8 weeks post op as of tomorrow. I think I'm getting better everyday. I wake up with a flat tummy and by the afternoon I'm pretty swollen , but I think that is pretty normal. My left Breast is still a little swollen too but I can tell that it gets better and better. My next follow up is 7/17 with Dr. Diaco.
