I wanted to get Juvederm because i started to get minor nasolabial lines and i didn't want them to get worse. I got it done 10 days ago and i couldn't be happier! The results are great at the moment. There is still a slight line but makeup no longer gets caught in the groove and i can smile again! =D

The procedure was very quick. I got one syringe between the two sides. She inserted the needle 3 times on each side. I only felt very, very minor pain (although my pain tolerance is high!)

I literally did this right before i went to work!! I could not believe how easy this was. I did have minor swelling and one tiny bruise which was easily covered with makeup and went away in about 5 days. I am an easy bruiser with fair, thin skin so i was suprised.

I did cut out any supplements i was taking and ate alfalfa and took my calcium supplement for added vitamin k for blood clotting. (dont know if that helped)

It was abit difficult to smile for the first 3 days because of the swelling but nobody noticed, not even my family who saw me without makeup.

The only con is the price but i'd be too scared to experiment with other places because i think its up to the Doctor on how well the procedure goes. Just hope it lasts a while!!

My rating:

My Doctor was great and thats rare to find these days! I'm abit of a critic but honestly i can't say a bad word against her! She listened to absolutely EVERYTHING i had to say even if i jumped in to add something as she was talking she would stop & listen. She was very polite and friendly, spent alot of time with me and answered all my questions.

Hi Shimmy,

Welcome to the Juvederm community! I'm so glad this procedure went better than the last one we chatted about. Wow, you had it before you went to work, and it went so well, that's awesome. Are you going to continue to do this since it worked so well for you? We would love to see pictures if you are comfortable. Please keep us updated.

Thanks so much for your review,

-Britt

Hi!
I'm visiting Sydney for a few months: where can I find a reliable Juvederm clinic and how much does it cost?
