“Body Going Haywire After Botox - Sydney”
Spent: $850 in Sydney, Australia
Posted 8 Oct 2010
I had botox injected into my jawline about 2 & 1/2 weeks ago. It has not made a noticeable difference to my face, but it has sent my body haywire.
First I got a bad throat infection 5 days following the botox which I took antibiotics for, and now I am experiencing racing heart and difficulty breathing every time I eat. It frightened me so much the first time it happened that I called an ambulance. Basically I am the type of person who already suffers allergies (ie, i have an overreactive immune system), and having the poison (botox) injected into my face has overwhelmed my system. I would warn others not to try botox. You may not react well to it and it's simply not worth the risk!

My Doctor: name not provided
I was told by the doctor that there was absolutely no risk involved with botox, which I believe now to be incorrect.

Hi Miss Berry,
It seems like you and 290872anon bodies both had unhappy reactions to the Botox. 290872anon said after much longer then expected they felt much better, hopefully the same will happen to you. Here is some info about Botox alternatives I passed along to them hopefully it will help you too. Please keep me updated about how everything goes. Thanks for the review.
