Early-20's Abdominoplasty After Losing 40kg - Sydney, AU

I was getting my bandages changed again as per usual..when they nurse lifted the bandage pus started pouring out of an open hole in my incision. Yuck! Turns out I had a bacterial infection. So had to stay in hosp again. Ouch! My inision is bleeding like crazy..having to change banadages every 4 hours.Swelling has been bad too! Still in pain! When will this suffering end?!? Lol ;-)
Its been a hard few weeks! I am 4 weeks post op in a couple of days..definitely don't feel like it! I have also experienced weight gain in hips and back..seems unusual!

Ended up in ED last night at 13 weeks post op with severe abdo pain...doctor rushed me into ultrasound and drained 3 massive syringes of fluid from my abdomen...hurt so much lol! Made me feel so much better though..now I have regular appointments to come in and get my fluid drained off.

Just hit the 13 day post op mark!! Been so many ups and downs in this time! My incision was bleeding a bit last night, and so I had a nurse look at it today and she told me to leave it...i thought she would have atleast checked it :-( I'm yet to walk straight! Still walking all hunched over and can't walk for long distances. Keep in mind I didn't have muscle repair as my muscles were pretty good...so it seems like my recovery period is going far too long....started back at work on day 8 and almost fainted from pain/exhaustion..do took another few days off. Feeling almost as sore now than I did in my first week! Ouch! And talk about swell hell...i feel like theres a baby in my belly its so swollen!!! Is that normal? It literally feels like theres a heavy weight in my lower abdomen and it is so uncomfortable/heavy to walk without my compression garment on.
Hoping for a better week ahead!! And i hope all you other tummt tuckers are going well :-)
