My 425cc Breast Augmentation - Sydney, AU

I have always had pretty small chest (12B although i think i was wearing the wrong size) but after having 2 kids and breastfeeding for 15 months my boobs were deflated and empty looking. I wanted to feel more confident naked and fill out clothes better. Dr Phoon advised that i go for around 440cc to achieve the full Dcup i was hoping for.Dr Phoon recommended i go for 440cc mentor round high profile implant which was about what i was thinking after comparing other girls with similar body shape and size to mine. My consult went for around an hour and i talked with the practice manager before i left about possible dates for surgery if i decided to go ahead. As soon as i left the clinic i said to mum (who i had brought with me for girlie support) 'i really dont think i want to go see anyone one else' i was happy with my consult and confident that Dr Phoon would be a great choice as my surgeon, mum felt the same and i think she was just as excited as i was! I booked my surgery for just 3 and half weeks away on the 4th April and could wait. I met with Anaesthetist (who's name i cant remember) and Dr Phoon before i went in for my surgery, they went through what was going to happen, Dr Phoon drew some marks on my breast and said he had a few different size implants with him and would see which one fitted me best. I was given something in my cannula to help me relax and was totally calm and carefree as i was wheeled into the operation room. When i woke i was in a bit of pain and was giving pain relief as needed. I was visited by Dr Phoon who told me everthing when great and i had 425cc implants. I was only in for day surgery and was heading back to Canberra the following morning (Saturday) Dr Phoon said he would meet me here at the hospital in the morning to check everything was going well before i left to go back to Canberra. When he came to check on me it was clear it was his day off, i could tell he actually cares about his patients and work. Everything was great and i would see him again in a couple of weeks, unless i needed to see him before. Even though i lived 3 hours away i felt like i was really being looked after, his practice nurse called to check on me ever few days and advised me what dressings i would need my local GP to use until i went back. Dr Phoon even emailed from holiday in Bali went i was worried one of my incisions was weeping a little much. Its now 5months post op and i actually received an email from Dr Phoon today which reminded me that ive been meaning to write this review for ages!He said he has some work commitments in Canberra next month and he would be happy if i wanted to have a checkup while he is here! You cant get any better follow up care than that!Im absolutely happy with my big boobs, im around a 10DD/E which sounds big but isnt really. Im actually so use to them now i might consider maybe going a little big in the future.. If i do, i will with out a doubt be seeing Dr Phoon.
