I'm 19 years old, 5'3 and am size 32E/F, Ah! I was a reallly late developer in high school but by the time i was 15 my boobs just kept growing and growing and growing! Boobs just really aren't my thing... especially having such a small frame, i look completely disproportionate and just...well... weird! I find it really uncomfortable lugging this weight around, i get really sore shoulders from my bra straps which leave big grooves, a constant sore back and not to mention the difficulty finding cute clothes to fit.. especially swimmers! I also can't stand having to constantly wear a bra because they are too uncomfortable without one!
I started looking into breast reduction surgery when i was 18, but decided to wait a bit longer to really think about it. I am now a month away from the surgery and excited, nervous and really just don't know what to expect!! I just want to get it over with! I've been reading all these stories and they have really helped understand the process and everyone just looks so great after!

My first consultation went really well... my doctor showed me some of his before and after photos and explained the whole procedure. I felt really comfortable with him and i'm confident he will do a good job.
I have my pre-op consultation on the 2nd of November and i have sooo many questions to ask him! I will let you know how that goes!
I will also post some photos soon!

Welcome, Dollipop! Thanks for sharing your story with us. I was a 34H prior to surgery and am now a 34DD. I would still be considered a large-breasted woman, but am so much more comfortable than I ever was. I am more active and have tons more stamina. You will be so thankful you did this for yourself! Wish I had done it when I was your age!
Thanks Iowa71! I can't wait to be able to be more active and comfortable! You must feel so amazing. I don't want to be tiny.. i would be so happy with a large C or small D... i think it's important to keep some curves!

Welcome to RealSelf!  I am looking forward to reading all about your journey.  Keep the posts coming.

You are going to feel amazing when this is all done.
