“Swollen eyes”

Lifestyle lift: NOT worth it

Cost: $8,400
Pain: Uncomfortable
Lifestyle lift satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor
I do not recommend my Lifestyle lift provider: Name not provided
Why: It didn't turn out as he said!

Had a good experience with the original app., the woman I talked to was very knowledgable. The Doctor came in the room and explained the procedure, sat me infront of a mirror to show me what to expect from the lift, eye and neck surgery.

The clinic called and gave me a list of things to buy for after care.

Had the procedure done Feburary 10th,2009. The swelling in my eyes continues to be a problem. Three months later I have alot of swelling around my eyes every morning, that gets some what better by noon-2.00. I still have swelling on my cheek bone right under my eyes all the time. The scaring on my chin is all puckered up, and looks awful.

I have been back to the clinic once, and they said to give it more time. My doctor is no longer with LSL, and I wonder why!! I will be returning in the next month or so if things don"t get any better!

I had this done because it was time to do something for myself. I have fixed everything else that I have, and it was time for me to fix me.

I'm sorry that I didn't know about this web site before I did this. If anybody else would have advertized the existance of the care Credit card, I could have gone anyplace!

I called the American Board of PL. Surg, & he is not board certified. From what I can tell, he's only been in training w/ LSL approx. a year.On his Bio, I don't see anything great about his credentionals, even his publications are support based only, w/ 2 publications on a cochlear ear transplant.. Nothing really on actual plastic surg in his publications. He is a new LSL DR, replacing Shash.... I know a few girls that had redo's from a DR Kotis in that area because of Shash & he's been doing LSL for 3 yrs& over. Supposedly there will be a PLASTIC SURG. joining the practice, since the last 2 left. He's not on the website yet, but if I were you, I'd call& ask for his credentials sent to you. This is just my opinion.

His name is not Joffrey. It is Mir Jafri. Look at his medical licenses on the website

Just check him out by the name that is on his medical license . It's on his diplomas on the LSL website. I think he got his LSL training by the medical director of LSL. It looks like he trained approx. a year... I was told he is not board certified in Plastic Surgery, but I found out Dr K is board certified by the American Osteopathic association. It is independent of the American Board of Plastic & Reconstructive certifications. The osteopathic one is for D.O's & not M.D's. I think! Maybe a Dr here on realself can explain this better. Tom, can you ask this question??? When we are asked to check if a Dr is board certified, we all think to call the ABPS & not the AOA.. Thanks

Hey Bits, you are right, Dr. Kent is certified by the The American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolargyngology - Head and Neck Surgery , hereinafter referred to as AOBOO-HNS. Requirements for certification can be found at this link: http://www.aoboo.org/aoboohns_protocol.htm

thanks Chrise. It's so confusing when all you are told is to call the ABPS...and time& after time they say he's not board certified. So..if a Doc is a D.O, people call the AOA or link above.
