Rhinoplasty - the Best Decision I Have Made, Life is Too Short to Be Unhappy! - Sutton Coldfield, GB

I have wanted rhinoplasty for about 6 years and as soon as I got in to full time employment it was the thing I started to save my money for. I can honestly say that it was worth every penny. My confidence was so low and I was always conscious about what other people thought of me. I always felt like people were talking to my nose rather than to me. I hated it! I went to other known clinics that are advertised first to see what they had to offer; I quickly realised that you were paying for the brand. My mom reminded me of Little Aston Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and I am so glad she did! First of all I had an appointment with the nurse that did not cost anything. When I rang to book an appointment, as soon as the receptionist knew it was rhinoplasty, she booked me in with a nurse who has also had to procedure at the hospital, so she could share her experience. The nurse I saw was lovely, she went through everything and it felt so good to talk to someone who was in the same position I was in. That was just the beginning. I was given a list of doctors who carry out rhinoplasty, so I went away and did my research. Within days I booked an appointment with Dr. Lahiri. As soon as I met him in the first consultation I felt at ease going through with the operation with him. He knew exactly what he was talking about. He listened to everything I wanted to have done during the procedure. We went through step by step exactly what I did not like about my nose and where I wanted changes made. He explained everything really clearly, and made me feel like there was no one else who needed to see him. There was no rush what so ever.I asked all the ridiculous questions I needed to. I wanted it done there and then! When it came to the day of the surgery I was so nervous about being put to sleep and whether I was going to get the results I wanted. As soon as I saw Dr. Lahiri my nervous disappeared, he is so calming and relaxed I knew I was in the right hands. We went through everything again from our first consultation to make sure that I still wanted it how we discussed. I made a few changes that, so we discussed them and he explained how the result would turn with those changes.It was time to go in to theatre. As I walked down I was so nervous about being put to sleep! When I got there, I could not have asked for two of the nicest guys to be in my surgery. I explained how nervous I was and they completely distracted me and I was getting tips about my up coming trip to Barcelona, as one of them had just got back. The next thing I knew, I was waking up!In my first consultation, Dr Lahiri explained about the swelling and that I would not see the resulted for a couple of months. When it came to taking the cast off I saw the results straight away from the front view and the side. Unfortunately, I could not see Dr Lahiri the day the cast came off because I had to go back to work, but he made sure that I saw him the same week so he could see the result and make sure I was happy with everything. Whenever I email him asking questions about exercise and swimming, he responds within a few hours and is so lovely. I am seeing him again in September so he can she the results after nearly 3 months and check that I am still happy. I just keep seeing the results get better and better, I still have some swelling in the tip so I keep putting an ice pack on to try and get it down as much as possible. The result is amazing, it is so natural and suits my face completely. I was really worried it was going to be extremely obvious I have had a nose job, but it is not at all. Dr. Lahiri explained in the consultation that he wanted to make it look natural and something that was going to suit my face. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Lahiri and Little Aston Hospital. I could not praise the nurses and all the staff at the hospital anymore. The main piece of advice I could give about rhinoplasty; be as clear as possible about the results you want.
