Hi, I am having my PIP implants removed next...

Hi, I am having my PIP implants removed next Monday 20th August. this has been booked for a while and I'm actually having it done on the NHS due to my clinic (Harley Medial Group) being hopeless. I have 290cc right and left above muscle, since 2003 (I was a 32 A, now a 34 C/D). I don't have any symptoms or rupture as far as the scan showed, however I have been getting sick of having the implants for a couple of years now, and the PIP scandal was the final straw. I have been reading reviews on this site for weeks now and they have helped me so much.. they are real and heartfelt and I certainly don't think I'd have plucked up the courage without this. Nobody knows I had the implants apart from my boyfriend and mu auntie! So feeling very alone and worried about how I'll feel about myself afterwards. I know it's the right thing to do.. I just worry about the first few weeks.. I've only booked myself a week off work and commute 100 miles daily! Oops! xx

Great review?

Thanks Angiemcc, really grateful for your comment. Yes the reviews of the women who feel so much better and more free afterwards has really inspired me! I will certainly keep you updated :o) x

Wow, that is one long commute! I'm sorry you got the PIPS. I hope you enjoy being implant free. A lot of ladies on RealSelf report feeling very light and free after explantation. Fingers crossed that that will be you as well. Please keep us updated!
