- 3 Dec 2010
I went in for botox around the eyes which I have had before to open the eyes and give a more rested look. The Dr started on the left eye, and continued to do tooo much on that eye and then realized he needed more due to useing too much on the left eye. He got more and I had a budget. When he came back with more to inject on the right eye he again started on the left. I had to remind him that he had already done too much and started on my right.
This was almost 3 weeks ago,as of today my left eyelid droops and looks like I have had a slight stroke. I'm really upset about this as I feel like he just didn't pay attention. I think that the muscle's around the eye and lid got too much and had a reverse action. Plus he charged me an extra $50 for his mistake. I had a very important function to go to and people ask me if I'm ok cause I have this eye that is half open. So disappointed and then when I get tired I can feel it falling and almost closing.
Please make sure he pays attention.!!!!!! I almost look like Captain Hook. It's really terrible. I have no photos as I don't want anyone to know me.
Hi Fresno,
Welcome to the community and thanks for the review. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Have you gone and seen anyone else about it, or have you started to see it wear off? Please keep us updated.
Thanks,
-Britt
I am showing him the results. My family Dr. said this was the result of careless injection. It has not worn off and because Botox lasts for 3 months I have a ways to go. My other eye is wide open as it looks how it should look, but this left eye closes as I sit and write to you. I just don't look like myself and I'm very upset about it. I have given him a lot of business and he has made a lot of money from myself and friends. Plus charging me the extra $50 is ludacrust for his mistake. Can you imagine. We will see. I will keep you posted. I don't care how many awards they have or whatever, if they don't pay attention, what's the point.
Yes paying attention you would think would be a very important when administering Botox. Yes please do keep me updated.
Thanks,
-Britt
