After visiting multiple surgeons and spending hours upon hours researching online, I chose Dr. Ciaravino for my implant exchange and liposuction. I had my first set of implants placed in 2010 by another surgeon in South Houston. They were 350 high profile Allergan implants. I honestly never had an issue with them and got compliments on my breasts all the time. However, I eventually started working out and doing Crossfit, and the more I leaned out, the more I noticed my breasts shifting down and out.
When I saw Dr. Ciaravino, I expressed my concerns with the current look of my breasts and waist and asked if he thought my goals were reasonable. He did explain to me how my breasts naturally started a little more to the side, so that wouldn't really change, but that he could definitely attain a perkier look and more cleavage for me. He and I chose 480 ultra high profile Mentor implants. Just before he left the room in my consultation, I mentioned my love handles and that no matter how skinny I get, they are always there. He recommended lipo at this area and said it would be a nice compliment to the breast surgery.
The surgery and recovery were really a breeze. I woke up from surgery in very little pain..it was just tight and my love handles felt like I had done a really tough oblique workout. I had the surgery on Friday and was able to return to work on Monday! His staff really wasn't joking when they said I could get back to work quickly! I saw Dr. C at one week postop and discussed massaging my new implants as well as the lipo area to prevent scar tissue from forming. I have zero lumps or bumps at my love handles, so the massaging definitely worked!
It has now been 4 months since my surgery and I am absolutely thrilled with my results! I can't wait for bikini season and I have Dr. C and his lovely staff to thank for that!
