Well, 6 weeks later, it wore off. Botox lasted 4+ months for me. I called his office and spoke to Debbie about my concerns. She said that others had complained as well and that she would speak to Dr. Benedetti and get back to me. Well, she never did. I was mad and spoke to an old college roomate of mine that works for a plastic surgeon in Miami. Well, it turns out the "new botox" Dr. Benedetti was given to try out was a freebie from the company and that ethically doctors are not supposed to charge patients as it is 1) a freebie and 2) a trial. My friend was shocked and outraged that I was charged the full price that I normally payed for botox (over $500) for a trial and then he and his staff ignored my concerns when it did not work. I cannot trust a doctor who is not completely honest with the situation. I just feel he wanted my money and did not care about me as his patient.
I recently went to another plastic surgeon for my botox and was very happy. This plastic surgeon not only confirmed for me what my friend said--it is unethical to make a patient pay for a trial and free product, but also his aesthetician was amazing and gave me great advice on my obagi. I had previously been so frustrated with Dr. Benedetti's nurse (his wife) and his aesthetician with their recommendations. I felt they were reading the instructions from the manual. So, I will never go back and was not happy with how I was treated.
