1 year Post Op Update

Wow, doesn't time fly. This time last year I was feeling very sore recovering from my procedure. I'm now 1 year post op. I've not had any problems since my last update and feel that I now have the finished article. I still have no regrets on having my reduction but with hindsight I may not have gone so small, I was a 38GG (UK) and I am currently a 38C. I thought that I would easily be able to buy any bra off the peg but sadly this has not been the case as my breasts are quite wide and any bra that is too shaped is a no-go for me as I need more fabric on the side and less fabric in the cup.....if that makes sense!
I have a lot of scaring to. I've tried all types of lotions, potions, creams, gels, tape and silicon sheets. In fact I've spent a small fortune but nothing has helped. The scar on the side of my breast is very raised, it gets very itchy if I don't keep it moisturised. The scars around my nipples are raised, so much so that they can sometimes be seen through my clothes.
On the plus side the backache has gone and so has the numbness and pins and needles in my arms and hands in the mornings.
I'm struggling with my tummy as like 99.9% of you, I'm sure it was there before but I never got to see it. I've had a few set backs with my health over the last 6 months as well as turning the big 50 last week and the menopause is just about to knock at my door - I had good intentions about getting fit and loosing weight but I really must try harder to achieve this so this is my goal for over the next few months.
Like I said earlier, I have no regrets but rather oddly I do miss my old boobs as I've realised that I used to hide behind them and I now feel rather exposed and it does take a bit of getting used to.

3 months post op update

Well this week I had a first.....I actually went out of the house braless, I said BRALESS!!! Never in my wildest dreams would I have been able to do that before, well not without them dragging on the floor either side of me :)

We've had really good weather in the UK over the last few weeks, on Wednesday it even hit 38 degs! Now, previously as a big busted lass this would have been like torture but not for this small busted gal who was sat there in a sweltering non air conditioned office in a very short sleeved top wearing her tissue thin Sloggy bra with spaghetti straps underneath. It's weird really but even my asthma has improved since my BR in April, I've even managed to drop one of my meds?!?

My healing is still going from strength to strength but sadly I do have some keloid scarring on my right side and around both nipples, shame really as I did everything that was asked with regards to wound care but I'm carrying on with Kelo Cote and Bio oil in hope of a miracle. I'm still very happy with the outcome and would recommend this life changing procedure to anyone.

Miss Rose comes highly recommended by me. I saw her twice leading up to my procedure, she answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who is looking for a breast reduction in the future.
