14 days post op

Hi there,
Sorry it has taken me ages to post my update. I am 17 days post op today, but will post photos of 14 days post op.
I must admit I feel a great deal better today. I am more or less back to normal (except I find it uncomfortable to drive and I still get the morning boob pain).
I am still sleeping on my back, although my surgeon said to leave it a month before I try to sleep on my side. I have noticed that the swelling has gone down a lot and they seem to have changed shape. They were rather round at the beginning and now, as I have taken the plasters of my nipples, they seem to be pointy!
Oh! My left nipple is numb and right one is excessively sensitive, but the skin around both are sensitive. They are still not soft and squishy, but a great deal softer than they were at the beginning. I think the tightness of the skin also contributed to that.

Let's see if I can load the pictures!
:)

Unfortunately, this is the second time I am...

Unfortunately, this is the second time I am writing this review, because for some reason the whole thing deleted and I was unable to post.

I have been thinking about a breast augmentation since I was in my early 20s, but it was never the right time for me to get it done. Now, nearly 10 years later, I work from home, have a supporting husband and the financial capacity to pay for it, so I began an in-depth research of all the options available to me, reviews from other girls who have had this done, pros and cons and the like.

My stats are: 31 years, no children, 58kgs, 168cm tall, slim complexion, bra size before BA 85A.

I think the most difficult part of it all was choosing between one surgeon and another after I had shortlisted them from a list of about 15! There is no real way of being sure of whether you're making the right decision, as all you can base your opinions on is what the PS tells you, their clinic, the hospital, reviews of other patients, before & after photos, but you can never be sure... Every person's body is different and the results can be so different between one person and another.

I finally went for a Spanish PS who unfortunately is not yet registered on this page. His name is Dr Meyer Gonzalez, operating in the south of Spain. I attended one appointment with him and exchanged several emails with queries and wish pics. He was very thorough in the measurements he took, taking the necessary time to explain everything to me and showing me all the different types of implants.

My surgery took place on the 9th January 2015, only 6 days ago, but I feel I need to go through the stages, as I didn't feel that the reviews I have read stressed on the fact that it really hurts and you are left in a great deal of discomfort. (Unless I didn't really concentrate on these types of details!)

I went to the Hospital on the date of my surgery and they carried out the necessary pre-op tests, then I was taken up to my room where I was visited shortly after by my PS. He made the markings and we went through my goals. Shortly after I was taken to the pre-op room and sedated. The next thing I now is that I wake up with a tremendous amount of wind, something pinching my finger and a blood pressure thing on my arm! I had an oxygen mask on and was connected to a machine. My throat was so dry. I tried to cough and it felt like my rib cage was broken.

The nurses saw that I was waking up and took me down to my room, where my nervous husband was there to greet me. I spend the first couple of hours in and out of sleep, trying not to cough and asking for water. The nurses refused to give me anything to drink until the effects of the anesthesia had gone. When they finally did bring some juice, it felt divine! I had trouble breathing, because it was so painful. My PS came to see me that evening to ensure everything was going alright. He confirmed that the operation had been a success and that I had hardly bled a thing, no bruising...

I was discharged from hospital the next day all bandaged up. I couldn't use the sports bra I had acquired, because it was too small! (I had bought a European size 85C). I was in a considerable degree of discomfort the first three days, as I still had a dry throat and it hurt to cough, sleeping on my back without being able to move, not being able to get up on myself ... let alone have a shower!

I went back to my PS for a checkup appointment and for the bandages to be removed on the 3rd day and was given a 95B bra to wear. This is certainly not as tight as the 85C, but it appears that I have lots of swelling and until this goes down... Taking about swelling, I also had swelling and sensitivity down my stomach.. I imagine this is water retention from the anesthesia...

I seem to be improving a bit every day. It's now post op day 6 and I can now get up on my own, have a shower (but not wash my hair.. I still need help for that).. But I cannot lift my arms up too much, or else my muscles hurt.

At this stage, I am still getting used to seeing that I have breasts! Going from practically nothing to this is quite a shock. The first time I saw them I thought OMG these are way too big.. But my husband doesn't agree with me. HE says they are proportional and that they still have to drop and loose a bit of swelling.. which I guess is true.

One last thing, I do feel quite a bit of pressure.. It's as if you are wearing a bra that is too tight for you down the front and when you go to loosen it up you notice it is not tight at all.. its the skin! This is a bit daunting, because you can't get rid of the pressure feeling.

That's about it for now. If any of you guys have any questions or anything that I can help you with, feel free to post me a message. :)
