So I've been wanting this procedure for a few...

So I've been wanting this procedure for a few years since I heard about. But I didn't have the guts. I have had no bum all my life and it's something everyone knows me for lol seriously.

So I told my boyfriend and he was against it saying he liked me how I am, but I always knew he liked big asses, over big boobs.

I told my sister and she always said it was my choice. But nearing the op date she said she couldn't believe I was going to do it. In fact, it was a talk with her that made me do it. She's battling with stubborn abdominal fat and is seriously thinking about doing lipo (she uses the gym regularly). I on the other hand thought no amount of exercise would get me the bum I want.

So I decided on Dr Aslani in Spain purely because he was the only one who had good reviews in Europe. And, although I would've loved Dr Salama, I wasn't willing to travel so far.

I spoke to Dr Aslani through Skype a couple of months before and he told me he would put the maximum amount of fat that he could and said that I definitely would never need to have a blood transfusion with this type of procedure (one of the q's I asked)

So on the op day, I was feeling really sick and had been sick. I wasn't sure why as I only had one alcoholic drink the night before. Dr Aslani said I would be fine after having a drip. So we went ahead with the op a few hours later. I had to have a general aneasthetic as the Drs thought it would be safer since I was feeling sick. I woke up face down in my room where my boyfriend had been waiting.

I was losing blood so had to have 2 bags of blood! I was very upset about this, but it had to be done. The week I spent in Spain was so horrible - not being able to shower properly, taking the garment on and off, going to the toilet, bending, getting changed. I am so thankful that my boyfriend was helping me. I could not have done this without him.

I am 6 weeks post op. I never sat on my bum for 1 month post op. I wasn't very swollen to begin with but I had a lot of bruising. I still feel sore on my lower back and sides. The first 3 weeks my bum had gone down so much. I wish my bum was bigger.

Overall my shape in much better (more to do with the lipo) and my bum is plumper but definitely not wow big. It just looks like a normal persons bum. Which I'm ok with but considering what I went through I can't say I'm ecstatic.

Also, I only saw Dr Aslani once before my op and once more just before I left Spain. Considering I had a blood transfusion and spent 2 nights in hospital when it was meant to be one, I wasn't happy that he did not personally see me. Also, when I went for my aftercare at Cirumed clinic. I was told I had to pay extra for the blood and extra night I spent, which was a total shock! I complained and they took this bill off.

My stitches were removed one week later but when I got back to the uk I found that they missed a couple of stitches but it was easy for me to take out myself.

The whole thing was so painful which I knew it would be but considering my butt isn't great I'm not sure how happy I am. Im just eager to see why it looks like 3 months post op as I really don't want it to go down anymore!!

Very laid back and easy going but maybe abit too much as I hardly saw him. I felt he was quite cocky when he saw me a week later. Also, all my correspondence was with Jenny, his PA, who I have to say is really helpful. But I do wish sometimes I had more of a professional opinion on some of my pre and post op questions.
