happy with size...

Will post more soon. Promise.

Behind in my updates but will soon...promise!

Life has been crazy busy lately. Lots of improvements with the boobs. The strained part of the anchor lift incisions are FINALLY healing. :) Still numb on surface of nips, but no pain and swelling pretty much gone. Will update with pics and more detail this weekend. Hope all ya'll are doing well!

3 Weeks down....

Day 23 post-op and doing well. The "t" incision points on both breasts are still struggling to seal completely. No openings yet so they are fighting the good fight. The irritated nerve on my right side is gone. :) The glue still hasn't completely sloughed off, though the swelling has reduced substantially. Surface skin and nipples are still numb, though when I pinch the nips hard I get a little zap so the nerves are still in high gear healing. I haven't been wearing any form of bra for the last week, except when I go into town. I think going free form has helped the implants drop a little more. I notice a little softening and a little more natural movement when I move. Lower breast incisions are also starting to itch, so I'm hoping I can start my silicone lotion soon.

Was put on yet another round of antibiotics because of my belly. Friday I noticed alot of swelling in my lower belly and had to go see Dr. Obaid . Had well over 60 cc of fluid build up so he reinserted two drains.....10:30 at night!! He had been in surgery all day with other patients, then stayed late to make sure I'd be comfortable over the weekend. I felt bad because they were so tired, but I was just too worried to wait for next week. Not happy about having drains again, but feel so much better. Belly is flat again and pressure relieved. :) Other than that everything has been progressing well. Bruising is gone, no more muscle soreness, and I am looking forward to getting sized in a few more weeks.

Haven't quite gotten to the point where these new boobs feel like a part of me yet, but starting to. In addition to getting sized/ new bras I think I might start getting my work shirts tailored and fitted closer around my waist. The boobs create a draping of my shirts where it's hard to make out my shape from across the room, so it's time I start highlighting my flat stomach and breasts together. That's going to be alot of tailoring! All for now. Update pics attached.

This was my second surgery with Dr. Obaid. I continue to be impressed with the professionalism, welcoming atmosphere, flexibility, skill, integrity and communication exhibited by Dr. Obaid and his staff. The adaptability displayed by Dr. Obaid to my unique circumstances this round has further anchored my trust and respect in him. The evening and weekend following my surgery he called me personally to check on how I was doing, and has always encouraged me to call or text him directly if I had any concerns or questions. Aftercare has been beyond stellar! I had a minor complication that required an unplanned visit to Dr. Obaid on one of his surgery days. After nearly a 20-hr work day, he and his nurse assisted me so that I would be comfortable over the weekend. I know they were exhausted, but they helped me with a smile, humor, and understanding. I'm nearly brought to tears with their professional grace! I also have to mention Melissa, my patient coordinator. From the beginning, she has been a gem. Be it questions, changing my procedures, scheduling, or just information sharing, she has been highly responsive and accommodating. At times responding at midnight!! If you want an honest, friendly, skilled, professional, and responsive surgeon see Dr. Obaid. If you want amazing results that may very well change your life, go to North Texas Plastic Surgery. You won't regret it!
