I had my face treated due to lipodistrophy from HIV meds. Lipodistrophy also caused me to lose fat in my butt---was totally flat. i had 7 treatment with microdroplet silicone. i look great and have had several MRI scans (due to other illnesses) and the buttock area is still showing microdroplets. As I've aged, i wanted to have a face lift. I did that a year ago and the surgeon was aware of the silicone work in my face. He indicated that he thought it was excellent work and that the volume felt natural to him. The surgery went well and I look great. I am very pleased.
Wow, what a fascinating story. Thank you for sharing so honestly. Do you know if the doctor had to do anything special during the facelift because of the silicone that was present?
