almost 7weeks post op

Wow how time flies. Im still wearing sports bras, just havent gotten around to driving to the city to go lingerie shopping...but sooo excited, will be doing just that on thursday! Cant wait to dress them up. At 3 weeks post i was instructed to start messages/displacement manouvers, 2nd day after had tremendous pain in lefty, ps said probably tore inside incision. Went back onto anti-inflammatories and no messaging and luckily pain went away quickly. Also discovered i have a mondor's cord also @lefty 2 days ago. Really annoying.... but, no major issues, and absolutely loving them. Sooooo worth it! I love love love them! Applying silicone scar gel twice a day. Incisions looking great.

12 days post op

Wow, time is sure flying by. Today is 12 days post op. I forgot to mention a few things in my previous posts, but here goes...
At 6 days post op i noticed a red area, from my armpit towards nipple, on righty, by 7days post op, the red area was SUPER sensitive, like some mention, sunburn feeling but worse. Very sensitive, even to soft touch. Its still present, and extended down my inner arm. But still only righty. At round about the same time, left nipple suddenly also SUPER SENSITIVE , even clothes rubbing against it is painfull, this has been the most painfull of the whole procedure, this is also still present. My incisions is still covered by steristrips, so no idea how they are looking, but from day 1 no pain or discomfort there. And on a good note, day 10 was another great turning point. Range of arm motion even more improved, and not that tight muscle spasm feeling at all. Able to pick up my 19month old for the first time. So over all, going absolutely great these last two days. No discomfort, no tight muscles, boobies getting softer, even able to push them together (almost). But... no dropping yet. PS said to just be patient, it co es with time. Scheduled to see him on the 13th. He doesnt give the band from day one, but will ascess if its necessary at post op consult. I hope not, can only imagine it being a pain to wear! For all those considering ba, do it, take the plunge, its amazing! Life changing in a wonderful way. Im still early on, and months away from seeing my final result, but already know its the best thing i have done for myself, ever! Happy healing everyone!

9days post op

Please excuse me for being so "absent" the last few days... i am currently 9 days post op. My pectorals are still very tight and lots of swelling still present No pain, not even on incisions. Just the stiffness of the pectorals and back muscles from compensating i suppose, thats giving me a hard time. I dont think there is look wise any changes, but they do feel a teeny bit softer. Nerves are waking up,,left nipple extremely sensitive, and top outer part of righty as well. Ps said pecs can take up to 6 weeks to calm down and relax,,cant wait... I absolutely love my boobs, love love live them, i feel they are the perfect size, and they look so even despite pre-op differences. I do believe i have a wonderful and very talented ps, i think finding a excellent ps is key! I had my first day of work, i have a physically demanding work, and it didnt go very well, was stiff sore and uncomfortable by noon. So i made it a halve day... tomorrow 2 hours of work, and then there is a weekend to relax and heal further. Hope everyone is keeping well! Xx
