I had done several cool sculpting treatments a few...

I had done several cool sculpting treatments a few years ago, but really wanted to get rid of pockets of fat that hadn't disappeared.

I went to Sonobello in Scottsdale, AZ. We decided to take a little off the upper abs, lower abs, waist line, and inner thighs. She thought I would no be pleased with the outer thighs since I don't have a lot of pinchable fat there. I have some dimples I would like gone so I will look into the something else later for that...

At the pre-meeting with the Dr., two weeks before the procedure, I learned he was concerned he may not be able to do all areas at once because of my body weight. He told me to make sure not to lose weight. I ended up doing just the opposite and made sure to gain a few pounds because I did NOT want to gamble with not being able to finish the procedure all at once.

DAY OF
I was awake the entire time. The utensil they used was sometimes uncomfortable as they filled the to-be-treated areas with a numbing solution that made the fat expand. It was more gross than anything as you could hear/feel the fat being ripped away from areas like the ribs. It reminded me of a seem ripper.

After the procedure was over and I stood up I could see that an area around my belly button that I wanted fixed looked flat. They put me in the full body garment and I went home.

1st Week home
They gave me Percocet for pain for the first few days, but I don't know that it does a lot more me. I was still numb in a lot of places at first. After that, the next few days I was very sore and had horrible bruising on my thighs. The bruising was actually a lot lower than where the work had been done. Also, swelling begins. My stomach area pretty much looks like it did prior to surgery, and my thighs are actually bigger than they were before.

Week 2
I have had the feeling (especially on my waist) that my skin is ripping away from my body if I move in certain ways. While I would say I am overall for comfortable now than last week, the ripping part isn't fun.

WEIGHT
My weight was about 8 pounds more (when I first got home) than what it was right before surgery. It took about a week to get back to my beginning weight. I would like to lose about 15 pounds, however, the nurse said she didn't want me losing too much. I have an appointment at the beginning of October and she said she only wanted me down 2 pounds from my original weight when I came in (which was 138).
