“So. Cal Native - Vertical Lines in my Upper Lip Are Now Gone”

I had vertical lines in my upper lip from being a sun worshipper (California native-love the sun). I was really worried about getting a filler injected into my upper lip because I have read many unhappy result reviews amd was worried about my lips looking deformed. An 0.8 cc syringe of Juvederm was $600 with 15 units of Botox free (Feb. special). I did get a dental block (shots inside the mouth to numb the area but the middle of lips didn't get numb). She outlined my upper lip with the filler and also outlined the bottom lip with very little filler so they would be proportioned. I did feel some pain since my entire lip wasn't numb, but not enough pain to freak out about. I was swollen but not too much that night and did have a tiny bruise above my upper lip right side. BUT, by the next morning, WOW the results were AMAZING. The wrinkles gone. I go back in a week for a follow up. I have filler left over which she stored so I may use a little more to plump up the pink part of my upper lip. I am very happy with the results, lines gone and lip is very natural which was our objective. I may try it without the dental block because I don't think it numbed the places that needed numbing. I will ask if she has a good topical numbing gel I can use. Do take your time to pick someone experienced and who really is into making your lips look natural.
