“SmartLipo All Boils Down to the Provider”

I think it all boils down to the provider. I had done extensive research online re: the pro/cons for the SmartLipo.

Did you know that removing the melted fat is optional? Some doctors do not remove the melted fat and expect the body to reabsorb the fat; I can only imagine that would take forever to do.

I had technically three treatments. My first was my upper/lower abdomen, returning for flanks (love handles). I am 5'7, typically weigh from 135-147 and wear a size six. Over the past few months, I noticed my weight creeping up to my highest non pregnant weight of 150; which was perscription related.

Immediately following the first treatment (upper/lower abs), my tummy looked like it did when I was 22 right after the treatment. I did have swelling but could see immediate and very favorable results. I wore a compression garment for seven days. I had some bruising and was very, very, very sore. After the initial treatment, I was certain I would not go through the pain again...within a week, I had scheduled the (third) flank treatment.

Following the upper/lower treatment, I put on a pair of my favorite jeans; size six (which fit perfectly when I am at 134). The last time I had put them on was also the time when I was at 150 pounds and just days prior to the first treatment, knowing they would be uncomfortable at that weight (pre treatment), for the first time in my life, I was growing a “muffin top”. In all honesty, I still had some of that same "muffin top" after the upper/lower treatment but the jeans fit and I looked great. The residual “muffin top” was the convincing factor for scheduling the flank treatment.

I am happy to report that my “muffin top” is completely gone. My favorite size six jeans are now about an inch too big in the waist and I have dropped down to a size four, and alas no muffin top! I did not lose much actual weight on the scale but I have an extremely tight mid section with muscle sculpting showing through just beneath the skin layer on my tummy.

I consider myself to be a pretty “typical” suburban mom of three children, two were c-section and I have also have two very invasive abdominal surgeries (both within 18 months of each other. I don’t know if I like that I have a flat tummy and no muffin top or that my scar looks SO much better; the overall appearance of the scar was worth the money alone. My doctor spent a lot of time melting away the huge amount of scar tissue that was running from my belly button all the way down..., the scar looks so much better as the mass of scar tissue has been removed completely. While I still have a visible line of where the surgeries took place, when they heal completely, I think I will be able to wear a two piece again.

I can't say enough! I don't have anything else to go back for, otherwise, I would do more! It is SOOOOO worth the money and the time that it takes to fully recover.

I also want to mention that I have very resilient skin. I did not have stretch marks following pregnancy and never had loose skin. The results were much better than I would have expected them to be. AMAZING!
