I had SMARTLIPO to get rid of the fat under my chin. Not only did the procedure not work, it made me look worse. Now I find out that the procedure which uses lipo and then a laser to tighten the skin, is only successful in five percent, according to several plastic surgeons I have spoken to. Is this ethical to offer a procedure that a doctor knows will not work?

I had SMARTLIPO in new york city by Juva Skincare to get rid of the fat under my chin. Not only did the procedure not work, it made me look worse. Now I find out that the procedure which uses lipo and then a laser to tighten the skin, is only successful in five percent, according to several plastic surgeons I have spoken to. Is this ethical to offer a procedure that a doctor knows will not work? Also Dr. Bruce katz never told me that he was only a dermatologist and not a plastic surgeon.
