I had smart Lipo done about 12 days ago... went in for my one week follow up and am feeling pretty good. I had my upper and lower abs done and things are definitely flatter. However, yesterday I began to notice the hard lumpiness that some people have described and I want to know what I can do to help it move along.

Pain wise I'd have to give it a mild for the procedure and for 2-3 days after. The way people described the 'burning' of the anesthetic fluid was not very accurate to me. I didn't find it bad at all. I had my procedure by my Dr. an RN and a surgical tech present. We all talked through the whole thing and it was not a difficult procedure to go through.

I felt that the support staff, an RN and a surgical tech, being present indicated the seriousness of the procedure and their commitment to doing it right. My DR. called me several times immediately post-op to check on me and seems to think I'll continue to show good results when I go in for my 6 week follow up.

HI Swifty, I too had a pretty good experience with my smartlipo of my abs and flanks. I developed a hard bump on my lower ab after my procedure which is almost totally gone now (its been about 8 weeks since my surgery). I did endermologie as well as massaged it every nite to help with the bumps. I would start as soon as you can otherwise it will become scar tissue and harder to get rid of the longer you wait. Massaging I would say is the best solution or at least it was for me. Hope this helps!
