I had smart lipo done yesterday on my upper, lower abdomen and my love handles and it was sooo painful...!

They don't tell you how painful it is. It was not at all painful on my love handles but the pain on my abdomen was excruciating. He didn't take all the fat from my upper abdomen as I couln't take the pain...! I felt like I was being butchered. I was crying uncontrollably.

Saying that I can already tell a difference...! I can't wait to take my garment of although I have to wait. They took one and half litres of fat away...!

I am not sure of the results so far so I will post them as soon as I can.

how can you recommend your provider after going thru all that. My understanding is that it is painless after numbing solution.

You're understanding is inaccuarate. I just had third procedure done on the same area. I would recommend a tuck from a Board Certified Physician in PLASTICS. There is pain, and lots of it. Also, the tucks done in this area are LESS money than the lipo and much better result. If you do this, expect pain.

I will post pics as soon as I can. Saying that I had so much pain, I can already see amazing results. It seems really smooth. I will post before and after pics in the next day or so.

Anna7193 17 May 2009
I can't see any lumps under the skin. There is just a lot of swelling and its in more places than others. I will post the pics in a weeks time as I dont have very good before pics so I am waiting to see my doctor and get them from him. I do feel extremely bloated.

Hi Anna, Thanks for your story. i'm hopefully getting similar areas treated in a couple of weeks. I'm also in London. Please do put pictures- looking at people's pics is giving me incentive!!

Hi there, I am slowly healing. I have asked the doctor to forward me the before pics but he hasen't as yet. I will remind him once more. I am a bit worried as I now have the lumps under the skin that other girls have mentioned. They were not there in the beginning but now they are. He has assured me that its like bruising and they will go away. I am hoping he is right as I don't want to end up with a lumpy tummy...! I will get some pics for you. I will ask him once more. Where are you having it done...? And does anyone else have bumps...?

I had multiple areas of ridges and lumps, and am one week post op third procedure...upper, lower abs and flanks. Most pain I've ever been in. Would never recommend this over tummy tuck.

I know it will be excrutiating for me as well. I have Fibromyalgia & have an unusually acute response to stimuli. Basically it takes me forever to heal & recover from "simple" procedures. But I know I am as fit as I can get at this point with the Chronic Fatigue etc. so I hope that one day I can afford to get this procedure done.

Hi Which doctor and which clinic did you get this procedure done? Any idea what form of they gave you and was there any choice of pain releif? Thx P

Hi there, I used {edited} in London. You can google him and they gave me deazepam to relax me and they use an anaesthetic in the area before they do the smart lipo. Hope this helps...! A
