The procedure was a little painful, but bearable. I had it done 4 days ago (apr8) the night following the procedure was pretty rough, i would recommend taking a couple of days off.

I also had my abs done, which seem to be taking a lil longer for the swelling to go down. Im really bruised on my lower abdomen. Anyone else have the same results? When can i expect my stomach swelling to decrease?

Hey JenMO, Glad to hear that things are going well for you so far! From what I've heard, the lower abs area always one of the last places for swelling to go down...It may take a few weeks still before that area really starts to flatten out more, since gravity is going to be working its "magic" in the meantime, pulling all your swelling down there. Just try to start massaging the areas you had treated, starting about 2 weeks post-op, and that should help the swelling AND the overall results! Take care, and keep us posted, hun!~

Yes it will take a while for the upper and lower abs. Had my procedure end of February '09 still have swelling down the center of my abdomen, but what a difference! I have been getting massage on stomach and ultra sound on my lower back area. It has made a tremendous difference in the healing process. Just hang in there and do not be discouraged.
