My Doctor: Adam J. Cohen, MD

Professional, courteous and reassuring. The Dr. and his knowledgeable staff artfully navigated me through the maze of aesthetic procedures and treatments to create the most effective regimen for revitalizing my face and neck. They answered all of my questions and took tome to really listen to my concerns. In the end, I went ahead with a package of laser "miropeel" treatments that were a breeze to sit through (I'm kind of a wimp) and didn't take long to recover from. The end result was far better than I expected and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. C to anyone considering facial surgery or medical spa services.

Hi KenilworthCougrrr64,

Thanks for posting, but aside from price and service how was the experience overall? Would you do it again, or recommend it to your friends? Did you have any complications, what was your recovery like? I would love some more information, and pictures if you have them. :)

Thanks

The treatment was described to me as a "weekend peel" and the recovery time WAS roughly two days. I would have my laser peels done on Friday afternoons, be red for the next 2-3 days and good to go again by Monday. As described by Dr. Cohen's staff, there was heat (like after a sunburn) following the treatments, but the laser itself wasn't that uncomfortable to sit through. I was surprised by how quickly the actual laser sessions went. There weren't any real complications, but I did slack a bit on using moisturizers after my third treatment and I paid the price by being red for an extra day and seeing a bit more flaking skin than the other times.
I'm not too keen on posting pictures of myself online.

No problem, completely understandable about the pictures. :) Did you use anything special on your face for the peeling?
