Not Worth It
Spent: $1,200 in West Palm Beach, Fl
I had juvederm 2 months ago for vertical lines on upper lip and also injected in upper and lower lip. I was scary looking for about 3 weeks and the bruising was so bad I still have discoloration on upper lip and in lip itself, although they are easily concealed. I did have improvement in the deep vertical lines and lip fullness, but it is already going away. I am sure it will be gone in another month. I would probably do it again if the discoloration goes away but I am afraid it may be permanent. If you do this, don't believe it will last a year, that is baloney. And do a little at a time. I think the reason my bruising was so bad was because the doctor used 2 and one half vials - way too much. I wish I had found this website before I did the injections. It was very helpful.

I have been thinking of getting juvederm to correct vertical, smokers' lines. I too live in the same area and was wondering who you went to for the filler. Thanks so much.

Hi. I had the same problem. I still have slight bruising or blue-ish areas (two points) and remnants of one lumpy area (only I notice) and it's 9 weeks later and almost gone in terms of volume. I'm not impressed and my doctor (very reputable and cautious) can't explain why and has no solution. I only had a few weeks where the results were stable, and the bruising not noticeable to enjoy the results.
