I have a ruptured silicone implant and the nightmare has only started. Not that I feel the procedure was done incorrectly or the area where it was done had anything to do with it. When I first got them, I was worried about breast cancer and other diseases even though I had read up on it.

I have had some unexplained symptoms starting with a weight gain of over 20 lbs in a 3 month period. I feel weak most of the day and always disoriented.

But my first challenge has been the insurance companies. Even though my insurance company has approved some test and office visits the hospital and or clinics will not accept.

No, I don't feel they are worth it. The thought is really exciting at the beginning but it is a long term commitment and should really be thought out well.
