My eyesight was horrible...I could barely even see a foot in front of me and that scared me thinking 'what if I lose my glasses driving' or 'what if my contact gets lost'.
I looked into Lazik with my opthomologist and he did a few tests and he said that I was a great candidate for the procedure. I am so glad that I did. For the very first time in 32 years I could see without glasses. I was expecting 20/40, but I had 20/15! It was the best decision I have ever made.
That was in 2000, and they have now come up with even new procedures, but my eyes are just as strong and there isn't a day that I regret the decision.
