I had thermage several years ago at a Medispa, after seeing reports from Oprah. It was painful and NEVER SAW ANY RESULTS. Total waste of money. Years later I was attending a plastic surgeon lecture where he noted that he had bought a Thermage machine, treated all his staff, saw NO results and then sold the machine at a lose.

I later had full Co2 laser ($3500) with incredible results, removing sun damage, winkles, spots and getting that "mini face lift". I look years younger. It wasn't painful and recovery was faster than expected. My husband just had active FX and his recovery took longer, but results are very good at $2500. So I'd recommend a more agressive laser.

PLEASE don't waste your money on Thermage! Also I was able to put off a blepharoplasty for now as the CO2 tightened my upper eyelids.

Hi Sag,

Welcome to the Thermage community. I wonder if it wasn't the procedure that didn't work as much as it was the med-spa didn't do it right. Other community members have mentioned that happening. I'm glad you had other procedures and they went well. Please keep us updated and thanks so much for the review.

Hi. Yes one might think it could be the clinic, but seeing that over 50% of your reviews are negative and an evaluation by a seasoned plastic surgeon as "not being effective" I would highly recommend not wasting time and money...no matter what age you are!
