Wearing a bikini! I thought it would never happen!
Over 4 months after mini tummy tuck
Just a little over 4 months post op - feeling great!
Sorry that I haven't posted updated pics along the way. I had a mini tummy tuck, lipo to the abdomen, flanks and inner thighs. I also had 286cc round gel breast augmentation. I am very happy with my results. At 3 months post op I wore a bikini while on vacation and felt good in it. I just went in for my 4 month check up last week. I am healing well. Things are looking good and my clothes fit so much better. My surgeon says that the swelling will probably go down a bit more. He said that I won't have full results until 1 year after surgery. My inner thighs aren't as smooth as I would like. My surgeon said that some of that may still be some swelling, but if at my checkup in six months there are a few spots that he said he could smooth out with some very minor lipo. Anyway, I am very happy with everything. I'm glad that I did this. The hardest part about the whole thing has been being patient. I was swollen in my abs for quiet awhile. I still think there is a little swelling left. I've read on this website from doctors that a mini tummy tuck brings "mini results". I disagree. I think if combined with lipo it can be very successful. I'm 54 years old and it worked. My upper abs still have a little extra skin if I bend over, but I can live with that.
