MOH's Day 1, Plastic Surgery Day 2 - Seattle, WA

This is a necessary procedure when you find basal cell on your nose. This is a painless procedure done in office and it took about 1.5 hrs with 2 passes. Meaning they had to scoop 2 sets of layers to get all the cancer. This left about a pinky finger nail sized hole on my nose. Because of this, I had plastic surgery the next day to cover the hole. This is a bit more invasive than my other friends with the same cancer on other parts of their head. I was satisfied with both of the surgeries.

Great review?

My dermatologist Dr. Ochs at Virginia Mason discovered the cancer and referred me to Dr. Krishnan and Dr. Murakami who then did the plastic surgery. They are all on the same floor and are quite convenient. This is a powerful team of doctors working together to help me keep my modeling career! kidding, but on a serious note, they are all excellent providers and I would refer everyone to them if needed.

I'm glad to hear they were able to remove the cancer cells for you. How are you feeling today?

All good. It's been 3 years now and I did end up just having another plastic surgery to remove the scar tissue on my nose and I am satisfied.
