6 week update!!! Yay! :)
So it's been a lil over 6 weeks since my explant, wow where did the time go?? A lot of changes have happened since I last updated, I saw my Ps about 2 weeks ago and she is very happy with how well my skin is retracting! I'm back to my original breast size now that my skin has done so much retracting and im perfectly happy with that! :) It feels so good to be almost 100% back to normal! However my journey has now taken me on a different path as 2 weeks after my surgery I went in for my yearly eye exam and my eye dr has found a pituitary gland tumor and it's pressing on my optic nerve causing me to have vision loss. So now I have appts to see a Endocrinologist to start treatment but I wanted to update everyone before cuz im not sure when I will be able to update again due to my eye dr's findings. Best wishes to everyone out there who is wanting to explant, it is definitely worth it however you do have to give your body time to heal! Oh I almost forgot, I have sent a pic to realself to post for me for my 6 week update so keep a eye out for it! :)
I went bra shopping today :)
I went bra shopping today and it was challenging but I was able to finally find a bra that fit and is super comfy! :) I thought for sure I would of been in a smaller size but due to the implants making my breast so wide im now in a 34 D! They at first said I should be in a 32 C but after trying it on, I was told I need to try on a D. So I tried on a 32 D but it still didn't fit right :/ finally after what seemed like hours of bra trying, I found a perfect fit in a demi, 34 D :) I was and still am in shock cuz originally I was a 34 B and had the implants put in making me a full C small D and now im back to were I was when I originally had the implants put in! I guess I should of had kids before I had those nasty bags put in! However I know a lot can change in the next few months with their size and shape. Either way I'm happy! Anyway I can't wait til I can start wearing it!! It's so comfy, But Dr's orders were to wear the compression bra til next week then she wants me in a bra to help shape them. So Monday can't get here fast enough!! Other then that I feel great, And for the first time in years I finally don't need my night time meds to help me sleep :) I no longer have insomnia!!! Yay! I hope everyone else out there is doing great and thank you again for all the support! You ladies Rock!! Much love and best wishes to everyone!
Boobies, boobies everywhere and no more feeling sick! sign me up please! :)
So last night I had to add a extra sports bra on top of my compression bra lol my boobs were literally starting to pop out of the top and sides of my compression bra and needed the extra support! They are fluffing like crazy! Lol I originally had them put to a full C small D and due to pregnancies they grew to a DD/ DDD :/ now the implants are out they are where I wanted them originally, without the implant making me sick :) even if they would shrink down, I will love em no matter what! I have to say I didn't want to believe that they were making me sick for the last few years, I just blamed it on me getting older! I'm proud to say that im 100% better now!!! No more chronic fatigue, joint pain, muscle aches, dizziness, low blood pressure, vertigo.... the list went on and on! Thank you to all the ladies out there who did believe that your implants were making you sick cuz it was your stories that helped me make the best decision I have ever made in my life! I love how I feel now! I had almost forgotten how it felt to not be sick!!! It's like it just became a normal feeling for me over time and I just got use to it! I finally feel alive!! Yay! :)

So I meet with Dr. Sowder on Jan. 15 to discuss having my 12yr old implants removed. She was so amazing! Not once did she try to talk me out of it nor did she try to sale me any other procedures! She gave me positive feed back and made me feel so good about my decision! I didn't even have to ask a single question because she answered them all before I needed to ask! I definitely look forward to her doing my implant removal! I'll keep everyone updated on my journey as it unfolds! :)
