Had it 21 years ago, age 3l, after thinking about it for 13 years. Went from D to B cup. Now I am height-weight proportionate (5'2"). LOVE IT! Every shirt I wear looks great, and it made me look 20 lbs lighter. In my mind's eye, because I was short and a D cup, my blouses were always a 12-14. After breast reduction, my blouses were a 6-8. I never realized I was petite until after the surgery. It improved my self confidence.

I cannot fathom that women have breast augmentation. I never knew a peer who had large breasts and liked it. We are always struggling with bras and blouses that don't fit. Society makes it seem like large breasts are so important. Most women I know who are well-endowed think they are a nuisance. I developed keloid scars, that flattened out within a year. Still a great decision.

My doctor was attention prior to surgery. He ignored an infection I saw him about post surgery. I had to switch my recovery care to another physician. Upsetting at the time but not in the big picture.
