I had considered it for years but finally decided to have surgery after getting back in shape - I wouldn't say my self esteem is tied up in my physical appearance, but I do think feeling healthy and looking healthy and proportionate has given me a new found sense of confidence.

Details? I had a breast augmentation and lift. Previously, I was a 34B, barely, and with a bra doing some industrial lifting and padding. I was a little uneven as well, so Dr. Shaw recommended a lift along with the augmentation. I got 400cc and am going to end up as a 34C - full C. The lift is amazing, my girls are "front and center" for sure. The few days after surgery when I was bandaged I pretty much stayed in a recliner. I didn't experience pain so much as just discomfort, and was off pain meds in three days. I was worried about going to work and having everyone notice, so I wore scarves and dressed with a higher neckline for a couple of weeks. Now my girls are settling down and they look GREAT in clothes. I fill things out so much better, and look proportionate. I'm extremely happy!!!
