Had lasik done about 2.5 weeks ago and things are still healing and adjusting, but I can see as we'll as when I had my glasses on during the daytime. i was -4.00 in both eyes with a slight astigmatism. I still have quite a bit of dry eye issues and still cannot drive at night due to the god awful star bursting...but I am told that should pass in a couple months. I am still having to put tons of eye drops in throughout the day to deal with the dry eyes, and some gel at night so I don't wake up with bloodshot dry eyes and look like I have been smoking weed for days on end, lol.
Overall I am very pleased with the results so far, and I am hoping they improve even more as time passes.

1 week later......my eyes are not nearly as dry as last week, but the vision is still very much adjusting. I see much better during the daylight than at night, even with lights on in the house. Night vision is still very poor...lots of haze, starbursting, and inability to read road signs completely clearly. I have a 1 month check up next week and will post what the Dr has to say so far.

Another month later and the dry eye is improving,...

Another month later and the dry eye is improving, but not gone...:-((. I can see a bit better at night, but I still have. Ton of issues with seeing at night as well as I do during the day...hoping this will still change, but if not, I may need glasses for night driving, which sucks, because I got lasik to get rid of the glasses all together....I'll be disappointed, but its not the end of the world, and I still will have clear vision during the day. My eyes are still very dry upon waking, and looking like I've been out all night raging and smoking weed or something,lol, but it clears up about an hour after I have gotten up.....overall it has been worth the money and slight inconvenience of not driving at night, but I am still hopeful that this too will improve.

You crack me up!   No you definitely do not want to wake up looking like you smoked weed..LOL

The dry eye part would be very frustrating to me.  But having improved vision would be very nice:)
