I had my lower abdomen done on 10/24/2012. I am 5' 1" and 135 lbs. My abdomen area is bigger then other before and after pics I have seen. I have had 3 children, so I have the post pregnancy belly that I cant get rid of. The procedure itself was better then what I had expected. My nurse went over everything in detail with me. When the machine was initially placed on my abdomen, there was some discomfort that lasted about 5 minutes. I did have some swelling, some redness that lasted for a couple of days and no bruising. I am fair skinned, so I was pleased to not have any substantial markings. Being 5 days out I do still have tingling when the area is touched. I am hopeful that this precedure works. I have had Velashape done, and saw no results. I did talk during my consultation about that if I wasnt really a candidate for this procedure that I would rather know that then spend money and be disappointed. The nurse assured me they would not tell me I was a good candidate if I wasnt. I will continue to post follow ups, and hoping I will have some great before and after pics to show!!
