“Scars after mesotherapy”

Mesotherapy: NOT worth it

Cost: $1,500
Pain: Uncomfortable
Mesotherapy satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

Mesotherapy has left me scarred for life i think. It has been over 2 years now and the scars refuse to go. They are more like dark spots, in the places where i got injected. I have them all over my thinghs, hips and stomach and they look like really bad black heads. Although they have faded quite a bit now after two years, they still have not gone away competely. Earlier, a few weeks after mesotherapy the scars were too dark and too big. But now, although they are lighter, they are very very visible. I did not get any kind of infection, alteast thats what the doctor told me and he said that scars go away with time.. but i am still waiting.

Coming to my weight loss. I did lose some inches all over and there was some improvement in my thighs, as i saw cellulite disappearing, but thanks to my scars, i did not go for a repair treatment. I thought i would wait to see when the scars go before going again, but the scars never went away so i never went back. Now after 2 years, naturally i am back to my original size. The cellulite has returned too but i will not go for mesotherapy again. For me, it has been a bad experience and although i did lose weight. i got scars with it as a fee gift. Now i feel that i'd rather be fat than scarred.

I have two questions regarding your experience. First I was wondering if you remember if you had a tan prior to getting the shots? My second question is did the doctor give you a list of the ingredients used for your shots? I see your question was listed back in 2007 but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for listing your expierence.
