10 Weeks Post Op!

Today I am 10 weeks post op and I'm going in for my 2nd laser treatment. I feel AMAZING!!! I am so sooooo glad I went through with the surgery! I was swollen for a long time but I finally feel like I'm deflating lol. This past week I've been eating cclean, drinking lots of water and I'm trying to cleanse out my whole body....and I'm seeing the results! My hip bulge has gone down. My dime sized opening under my breast has healed and I feel like my old self again, except way hotter! :) For anyone going through recovery in the early stages, its definitely an emotional rollercoaster. But please just give it time....you'll be so happy in a few weeks!

Five Weeks Post Op

Today I am five weeks and one day post op. Upon seeing my review my PS called and offered a laser scar removal treatment. So, I got lasered. They said it rakes about 4-6 treatments to see the full results, but I'm glad to know there's a solution to my high scars. I know it'll never completely disappear, but at least it can be greatly minimized visually.

My swelling has also gone down a lot. I've been massaging my bulge on my hip, which has helped decrease it dramatically. My body was actually rejecting my stitches, so after I got those out I started feeling a lot better. However, from the stitches I got an open wound about the size if a dime underneath my right breast. My PS told me to just keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide and allow it to heal on its own.

So, I've had many small issues arise through this endeavour, but I still do not regret it. I was lucky to have a great doctor. Other than the high scars (which is partially my fault for not speaking up when she was drawing on me) everything really looks good. My tummy tuck scar is very thin and came together very evenly. I finally feel 100% back to normal. I can stand up straight without any pulling. I can finally start working out again, so I'm going to attempt to get rid of my love handles the all natural way.... by eating clean and working out. Overall I'm very happy with my results. This has definitely been an emotional rollercoaster at times, but I just have to give it time.
