The Wait is Driving Me Crazy - Dominican Republic

Ok ok I know it's been a while but everything started off good until the day of my surgery. Ok I took a late flight so I didn't get to DR until 2am. There was a young man there at the airport holding a sign with my name on it. He had a little car. The ride to the condo was about 40 minutes. We took the elevator up to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and clean. I stayed at "Ruth recovery house". I shared a room with a girl from uptown nyc. But she came two days later. The morning I got there me and a couple of girls went to cipla. Ruth daughters took us in a mini van. At cipla there's nothing but girl all over the place doing paperwork, blood work, X-ray, ekg or paying for there surgery. Make sur you bring your own medicine cause they [RS bleep] out there is [RS bleep]. I went through all the procedures and when I got up to see the dietitian she weighed me and sent me upstairs. Yily would not do my surgery unless I lose 8 pounds. So I came out there for her to tell me some [RS bleep]. Ruth told me she knows a good doctor that will do my surgery. I went for a consultation with Dr. Lima who's a very nice man. He's a very big man. He explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do It. Janet his assistant and real cool and make you feel comfortable. She had her surgery done by Lima too. He took my blood work and everything from cipla. He did my surgery the next day cause I ate that morning. When I got there that morning I paid and got marked up. I put on the gown paid for my nurse which was $50 and put on my compression socks and waited for Janet. Janet came and we went in the operation room. They put in my iv and they gave me medicine before they put in the epidural. I was up when he lipo my back. I don't know when they put me out but I woke up at the end when he was doing my implants. I was freezing but in no pain. I could feel the tugging and hear the sizzling but that's it. I don't remember how I got in the compression garment but I remember them bringing me back in the room. When the nurse turned her back I popped a pain pill. A girl at the house told me to bring my pills with me. I came to DR with my pain pills, heparin shots, antibiotics 2x, anti inflammatory pills. I came back to the house in the morning. I was able to walk to and from the car by myself.

Ok now there is some [RS bleep] going on in santo Domingo. I went to yily and I did all my blood work and medical when I went to see the dietitian she said that my bmi was over so they sent me back to the RH to loss 8lbs in two days. Now we know that is impossible. So I went to Dr. Lima who was amazing. Great personality. His assistant makes you feel comfortable. He did my surgery with an epidural. I was put to sleep for the Tummy Tuck I woke up when he was doing my [RS bleep] I felt the tugging but I wasn't in pain. When I woke up my doctor was startin when I woke up dr. Lima was still doing my surgery. my drain was taken out early cause I was going home and the doctor that I was going to in the U.S. Wouldn't touch with it in. When I came back I got a staff infection it wasn't that bad I got rid of it quick I have to take antibiotics. when Dr. Lima assistant took out my drain it just sting very bad once I was out and didn't hurt. I bust a stitch from my muscle repair but my stomach is so flat. Most likely it happen from me getting up from the bed or having sex. I'll keep you updated still in the healing process. I'm happy with my decision. Lima price was way better than the yily. he did everything that I wanted him to do except for he didn't like my stomach. Yily gave me a lot of problems. And her anesthesiologist killed the girl before I left. No if and or butts about it you have to keep on your Faja and as the swelling goes down the tighter your Faja need to be.
