2015 Almonte Doll!! Liposuction

Well it's been almost 8 months since my surgery. I can honestly say at the time I chose to get the surgery it was the best thing for me. For a person who has always been active steroid weight is like a shock to the system. My depression was at an all time high. While I was in the D.R. there were 2 ladies in my recovery home who had bariatric surgery. They were going to Almonte to make the final touches by getting rid of their loose skin. In my mind I knew I wasn't as big as some ppl who get gastric sleeve or gastric bypass but it was a thought of mine before I decided on lipo..... As the months went on I just wasn't as pleased with my results. I was really upset at the amount I paid and wasn't able to get my thighs or my arms done. There are other doctors there who charge less and suck out more. There were these two lumps on my hips that I asked her to make sure she sucked out. Well she did the left for sure but I guess maybe she forgot about the right side. Because of that in not symmetrical at all. The left side of my body goes in so much more that the right. It looks weird in form fitting dresses. I still was feeling really big, just with a smaller waist. My body was still really heavy and I felt like the only way I could be satisfied is to have the bariatric surgery. So the day of my birthday I flew to Tijuana, Mexico and got a gastric sleeve. The ladies in the recovery home both had there's done in Tijuana as well. I've already lost 25 pounds. I just wish I would've saved the money I used on Almonte. Because in a year or so I'm going to have my final round of lipo and I'm choosing to go with Cabral so I can be over and done with these surgeries. He's just more aggressive and really gives you the shape that most of us seek. All in all Dr. Almonte is a safe doctor, her prices aren't as competitive, but she is a good doctor. I just don't think she was the right choice for me.

First day of school photos

So fall semester has started so I'm back in school full time. It's hot as hell in Houston and I refuse to wear that fajas because i like wearing dresses and skirts to class. ....IT'S REALLY HOT AND HUMID YA'LL! I do wear my waist cincher tho so I can still have some compression. And boy, that thing has me sweating! It's crazy how as soon as you take the compression off your body it begins to swell. I wonder when does that stop.
