41 Yrs Old 1 Child 16yrs Old TT , BBL , Lipo Back ,Arms and Thighs.Dominican Republic, DO

Well how do I begin this review. Hmm well I decided to have plastic surgery done in the Dominican Republic . I went in person to get consultations . I was referred to get my surgery done with Luis Andres Codrero . He is very kind and professional doctor . He will answer all questions with patience and admiration. When I did the surgery everything was great . I came out out feeling good . I even spoke to my family on the phone. Next morning I went to the recovery house which was not a good place . They did not wash your faja everyday and one night tried to give chips with salsa for dinner because the cooks daughter was sick so the cook left early. Oh it was called Maria's Recovery house. So now the drain was not placed properly in my stomach . So that caused a lot of liquid to fill my stomach and sides . The doctor kept saying in time it will go down . I mean that sounds about right . Your still swollen and from what I had heard it takes about 6 months to a year to see your full results . Ok so I stay for 2 weeks miserable ,in that recovery home I finally go home . As time goes on my stomach never goes down. I sent the doctor pics every month until last week and told him my stomach is completely the same if not worse . He says to me I should come back so he can fix the issue . I am like ok no problem. I take off 2 weeks from work and I met a nice lady that gives massages . We became good friends and I am staying with her. I get to the doctors office and he says to me that he is not charging me for the procedure but I have to pay for everything else like ex : medications . Laboratory , Anesthesia and Cardiologist . Ok so I am like ok how much . He says talk with my secretary she will give you the price. Then she says she is not sure she will email it to me . So I am like ok 1 day wasted . Tomorrow surgery . I get an email stating I have to pay $1200 US to fix my scar . Not included the medication I have to take after surgery. So I was thinking Maybe $500 but $1200 I think is insane for what he has done. As a surgeon how can you have a patient that you did work on representing your name when I look like this . I am super depressed because i have to walk around with a scar that looks like a stab wound . I feel I shouldn't be paying not one cent . So the doctor and I went back and forth about the price . He had no sympathy that I look the way I do and I came from out of the country. He said to me if I lived in the Dominican Republic I would have not had that happen to me. So I said to him that makes no sense you have plenty of patients from out of the country . He does consultations through the computer. I am very frustrated with this whole situation. I am thinking to go with another Doctor because now I feel he will not perform a good surgery . Ladies Be careful there are different experiences for everyone and mine was not good
