“I Look Like the Devil After Botox - Santa Cruz, CA”

I am 47 and tried botox for the first time. I went to my dermatologist and she spent a lot of time with me. A friend of mine had very good results so I tried it. Lucky for me, my doctor suggested that I try one area first.

Within three days my eyebrows dropped and I now have a very sinister look. My lids hooded over and overall, my eyes look a lot smaller. I suddenly realize that I looked pretty good before. My doctor did not warn me of this side effect.

My hair dresser cut bangs and I will have to wait a few months for this to correct. I am embarrassed that I did this to myself and am shocked how different I look. I am too afraid to try to correct it.

Also, i had some swelling and tenderness on the right side of my face -- very deep under my check bones. The entire experience has been traumatizing.
